With our dedicated team of 30 digital natives, we collaborate daily with prestigious clients like AJE, Bed Threads, Boody, Assembly Label, Go-To Skincare, and many other leading and emerging retail brands. We seamlessly integrate paid search, social media management, and email marketing to deliver exceptional results. While our main office is in Sydney, part of our team operates interstate or overseas. The Role
We are looking for a Senior Performance Manager to take a leadership role across some of our most sophisticated paid media accounts. You’ll lead strategy, measurement, and execution for high-spend, high-growth clients, ensuring their campaigns are data-driven, scalable, and commercially impactful. While your core focus remains paid media, your remit will expand to collaborating across CRM, social, and strategy teams to contribute to integrated, multi-channel campaigns including international launches and ATL/performance media crossover projects. You will mentor other team members, help shape internal processes, contribute to new business conversations, and provide strategic guidance to both existing clients and prospects.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Communication
- Lead relationships with senior stakeholders across large-scale client accounts.
- Set and manage QBRS, performance reviews and strategies sessions alongside Paid Media Specialists, with a focus on global strategy, multi-market launches, and channel maturity.
Advanced Campaign Management & Execution
- Oversee larger ad spend accounts, including clients with international presence or aggressive growth targets.
- Support Specialists on campaign setup, A/B testing frameworks, and real-time optimisations.
- Build integrated campaign strategies that span paid digital and offline ATL for cohesive execution.
Measurement & Reporting
- Implement and report on uplift studies, incrementality tests, and other sophisticated measurement approaches.
- Turn cross-channel data into actionable insights at a business level
- Lead internal education around campaign effectiveness, new reporting standards, and strategic media investment decisions.
Team Collaboration & Support
- Mentor and buddy junior team members, supporting their development and confidence.
- Act as a strategic partner to the Performance Lead on planning, resourcing, and quality control.
- Contribute to internal process development and help shape scalable, repeatable performance processes.
Growth & Strategy
- Support the new business team by joining sales and prospecting calls, offering media expertise to close high-value deals.
- Contribute to audits and growth strategy sessions for prospects and clients
- Apply global media trends and learnings to client campaigns and agency practices.
Cultural Fit
In addition to your marketing experience, we value people who bring energy, clarity, and leadership to the team. At ER, we balance exciting, challenging work with flexibility and a life-work balance that suits you. Our supportive and humble culture fosters personal and professional growth, you’ll never walk alone. This role suits someone who’s equally passionate about great work, strong relationships, and leaving things better than they found them.
Your Background
- 4+ years of paid media experience, with at least 2 years managing significant budgets and complex accounts, ideally in an agency setting.
- Strong performance history across Google Ads, Meta, and broader digital platforms, with a bonus for TikTok, Pinterest, and Snap.
- Experience managing international media strategies, including localisation, time zone coordination, and compliance.
- Ability to interpret advanced data sets, including uplift studies, attribution reports, and measurement experiments.
- Strong commercial awareness, able to shape budget allocation and media planning to deliver against business objectives.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Experience in presenting media strategies to clients and collaborating with creative and strategy teams.
- Based in Sydney and have Australian working rights.
