This role would be ideal for a recent graduate wanting to commence their career in Automotive.
About The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager - Product Planning, you will be responsible for Project Management, Market Research, Competitor Benchmarking, Analytics and Reporting tasks.
You will have full exposure to the full Product Planning core responsibilities including product development, launch planning and product life cycle management.
Key Accountabilities
Product Planning:
- Support the product and pricing direction for a select portfolio, covering model line-up strategy, specification levels, product life cycle plans, regulation, feasibility, ANCAP, vehicle dynamics, transactional pricing, margin structure and unit profitability
- Support the launch strategy and process within Kia Australia
Ride & Handling:
- Support the Local Ride & Handling Program for all new models in 2025/2026 to maximise positive media feedback regarding vehicle dynamics.
Homologation and Certification:
- Ensure all new models are compliant prior to vehicle arrival, with no delays to wholesale plans
- Ensure Port Operations adhere to Port Fitment Instructions
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or Engineering
- Understanding of Auto Industry/Auto features/functions
- Passion for motor vehicles (car enthusiast) and technology
- Telematics/Telecommunications Product Knowledge (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Driven and highly motivated with strong multi-tasking skills
- Excellent analytical & excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
