WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS – We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our APAC team at Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). This hands-on role is designed for someone early in their marketing career who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, juggle multiple priorities, and support both our Consumer and Trade marketing teams across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. If you’re adaptable, thrive on variety, and are keen to grow your marketing skills in a dynamic international environment, this could be the perfect next step for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to positioning, building and protecting the NCL brand in APAC
- Provide copywriting, proofreading and editing support for marketing collateral and communications (ads, EDMs, brochures etc.).
- Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, including new creative assets and sales tools.
- Support campaign execution with key partners, including reviewing creative and reporting on results.
- Act as a central point of contact for website updates and requests.
- Manage daily community moderation across Facebook and Instagram.
- Oversee the social media schedule, adapting or creating content for AU/NZ audiences across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Assist with briefing content shoots and coordinating talent/media sailings where required
- Support the processing of purchase orders and invoices.
- Help prepare reports on campaign performance, market trends and competitor activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NCL offices in Miami and Asia.
- We work on 4/1 hybrid work model (Mondays = Work From Home).
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Tourism (or equivalent experience).
- 1 year of generalist marketing experience (in-house experience in travel/tourism ideal, but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised, with strong time and project management skills.
- Confident juggling competing priorities and shifting between consumer and trade projects.
- Efficient working style, with the proven ability to change direction at short notice regarding tasks and projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the flexibility to learn new platforms.
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
