Job Summary
We are looking for a Inspecie Administrator to join our high performing and highly collaborative Platform Administration Operations team on a maternity leave contract.
The In-Specie Transfers Administrator will manage the transfer of various assets, including shares and managed funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process. You will be the key contact for clients and counterparties, handling complex transactions involving both domestic and international assets.
Responsibilities
- Share Transfers: Manage the transfer of shares from counterparties via CHESS and issuer-sponsored mechanisms, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- International Share Transfers: Facilitate the transfer of international shares from counterparties, addressing the complexities of cross-border transactions.
- Asset Movement: Oversee the movement of assets between Investment Direct Platforms (IDPS) and Superannuation Products, including managed funds and shares.
- Managed Funds Transfers: Execute transfers of managed funds from registries, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
- Platform Transfers: Handle the transfer of assets from other platforms, coordinating with relevant parties to ensure a smooth transition.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary contact for clients regarding asset transfers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on transaction status
Requirements
- Administration experience is essential, preferably in the financial services industry (Experience within Wealth Management products / platforms highly desired)
- Proven experience in managing asset transfers, including shares and managed funds, from custodians, registries, and brokers. (Highly desired)
- Solid understanding of CHESS and ASTFs, with practical experience in handling various asset transfer processes (Highly desired)
- Self/time management- ability to prioritise and work to agreed schedules
- A strong client focus with proven service excellence
- High attention to detail, self-motivated and results orientated
- A strong team player with a collaborative working mentality
