Content Manager – $75 AUD/hr (6-Month Assignment, Onsite in Sydney)

We are seeking an experienced Content Manager to step in on a maternity leave cover and take ownership of the ANZ content function end-to-end. This role blends strategy and execution, ensuring our regional voice remains strong, consistent, and impactful. The ideal candidate is a proactive storyteller—skilled at uncovering stories, engaging subject matter experts, and transforming insights into compelling, audience-driven content. With a keen editorial eye, you’ll also maximize impact by repurposing existing assets across multiple channels, formats, and calls-to-action.
Key Responsibilities
- Story Discovery & Expert Insights: Build relationships with internal experts, customers, and industry stakeholders. Source or manage external writers to extract stories and insights that align with business priorities.
- Content Strategy & Management: Own the ANZ content pipeline, balancing original creation with localized adaptations from global teams. Deliver consistent, high-quality assets such as articles, case studies, and ebooks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing and Campaigns teams to translate GTM strategies into powerful narratives and campaign-ready content.
- SEO & Performance: Drive an SEO content program with agency support, ensuring optimized, keyword-driven articles and tracking performance to inform strategy.
- Content Repurposing & Amplification: Extend the reach of each asset by repurposing content into multiple formats and tailoring CTAs for different channels to support integrated campaign goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or editorial roles.
- Strong storytelling and writing skills, with a proven ability to adapt content across channels.
- Familiarity with SEO, performance metrics, and working with agencies/freelancers.
- SaaS, B2B, or construction industry knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
