An exciting role is now available for a HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. Reporting into our Operations & HR Director, you will be responsible for providing support to Sapphire Group and assist with the HR ‘business as usual’ activities including but not limited to; recruitment, employee lifecycle management, culture engagement activities and work health and safety. This role supports 200 staff across administration, retail and manufacturing. This role is based from our head office in Rydalmere and is a 12 month maternity cover.
What you'll do:
- Manage and oversee the recruitment process across Aus, NZ & USA
- Manage all employee relations across the business including but not limited to, relevant award standards, legislation amendments, visa compliance, licence and training
- Organise and manage company and team engagement activities and events
- Manage the Performance Management cycle process
- Manage and oversee all worker compensation and return to work activities
- Proactively work towards 100% work, health and safety across the business -Zero Incident, Zero Accidents
- Provide support to all staff inclusive of Executives, People Managers and Employees
- Complete all monthly board and adhoc Human Resources reports
- Work closely with the Finance and Payroll team on payroll queries
- Provide support and liaison across building management
- Provide administration support for the Operations & HR Director
Who you are:
- Professional or Tertiary qualified
- Approximately 3-6 years generalist HR experience
- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Systems experience is required
- Excellent communication skills (listening, written and verbal)
- Effective time management with prioritization skills
- Flexible team player
- Confident and well developed interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
